The Big 3 are the three points astrology reads first: the Sun (who you are and where you are going), the Moon (how you feel and what makes you feel safe) and the Rising sign or Ascendant (the first impression you give). Your Sun sign needs only a birth date. The Moon changes sign every two or three days, so the time helps. The Rising sign changes every two hours and needs the time and the city.
